If I have the debugger attached, my emulator or phone go as slow as slow can be. I have a largeish dataset that takes a few (5-10?) seconds to crunch through without the debugger attached. However, if I try to run my app with the debugger attached, that same dataset has taken over 30 minutes before I got sick of waiting.

Does anyone know why this would be, or could perhaps point me in a direction to look for answers?

Does your computer exceed the minimum system requirements for the sdk?  Where is the data coming from that is taking a while to process?  If it is coming from the internet how big is it?
