I'm able to see up to past 20 sprints in my VSTS board, I would like to go back even further in dates for reporting purposes. How can I see sprints for the past 2 years, look at the stories and points? Thank you.

You need to select the past iterations you want active for the team by selecting it from the menu, check the screenshot below:
