When starting a form, for it to be persistent, you must link it to a variable/form object that is persistent. See the LINKED keyword in VFP Help for Do FORM

The variable the form is linked to can be 

a variable (which then becomes the form object),

an element in an array (an array of open form objects),

or better still an element in a Collection. - See Using Collections by Tamar Granor
