Hello,
I am developing windows application in .net 2.0.
It is standalone application run on PC with no internet connection.
The requirement is user enter name of retailer in textbox on form or it is imported from files and we want that name to be displayed in regional language(eg marathindi etc)while generating reports.
I cant use resource file(localization) as the customers are in thousands.
Your help is highly appreciable.

Your problem seems to be English to Marati transliteration by the look of comments.

The simple thing to do is to translate English syllables directly to Marati letters.

e.g. Pramila = प्रमिला

But there are always exceptions. User might have meant प्रामीला instead of the prior example. So you should have a probabilistic model from which you can guess the transliteration.

For example say two transliterations are possible for a given English utterance. And one transliteration is a person name and other is a verb. So if we're sure that transliteration must be a person name, we can definitely choose the second one without doubt.
