I don`t have great experience in programming with linq, so I have a question to you.

My solution is programmed with vb.net in Visual Studio 2010. For connecting Database I use linq to SQL.
Therefore I have added a "Linq to SQL Class" and then I have added the tables and procedures from my SQL Databases onto the DBML design surface in Visual Studio.

Now my question/problem:
If I have to modify the Database. Because of new developments it is not possible to do this in the productive Database. So I have created a test database to do this.
Is there any possibility to change the DBML design surface for the development environment??

Please help me. I don`t know how I should do the changes.

Thank you for your idear, but this doesn`t work.
The Problem is that the dbml File is not updating.
So i think that i have to look for a sulution to refresh/renew the dbml file from Database like explaining in this Artikel:
