That we are unable to install MS Office inside Containers.

We also tried to install it on Windows Server 2016 itself, share the installed folder with the Containers, create a environment Variable for it and recreate the registry entries, so far without success. We would really need MS Office for our products. Is there any solution now for this issue?

Hi Mjoedick,

Installing Office in Containers isn't supported right now.  What's your use case?

Currently we are prioritizing other work and don't have plans to enable Office in containers, but we're always listening to customers to guide our prioritization.  

You can also post on the Containers UserVoice with a description to get a sense of if other folks want this too.
