I am trying to use glyphicons as a font within my site and they do not display after a "cache-clearing refresh" (ctrl+F5), or hitting the 'Back' button. If I browse within the site, the icons will display.

Since the site is on a private intranet, I can not link to it here, but I am seeing the same quirkiness on well-known sites such as glyphicons.com and getbootstrap.com/components/#glyphicons.

If it helps, I am using IE11 (11.0.9600.17959) on Windows 7 Enterprise, Service Pack 1

Hi,

It sounds like you may be using asp.net master pages and have the wrong resource url in your master page head section. Also make sure that you have 'Published' all of your changes to your localhost Cassini proxy (the built-in proxy that VS uses).

f12>Networking tab, click the start button to record the browser requests and responses.... return to the browser without closing the dev tool and repeat your testing. Observer any error codes in the networking tab. (you will be looking for a ~ in the url of font resource url).

You could publish your local website to an azure website for us to better test it.
