I am trying to setup a Windows Mobile emulator on Vista x64 so it can access the network, but I have not been successful so far.
I have the 64-bit version of Virtual PC 2007 installed for the virtual network driver, and the NE2000 networking emulator is enabled on each emulator device I tried.
I installed Mobile Device Center 6.1 in case it installed files, but as per the new rules, I am NOT cradling the emulator.
I installed the Windows Mobile 6 SDKs & Images (Std & Pro)

When I try to access a network path in Pocket PC 2003 (\\server\share), i get prompted for the network user name & password. 
I enter this information, and it connects successfully.
When I try this same procedure with either of the "USA Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC R2 Emulator" or "USA Windows Mobile 6 Professional Emulator" devices,  I constantly get a "Logon Failed" message, even though I am using the same credentials.
Note that I did verify that each device I tried was given an IP address by the DHCP server and can browse an internal website.

This is a first step I need to get working to ensure that we can properly debug the application we have created. 
Note that I do not have this problem on Windows XP.

Any assistance that can be provided is greatly appreciated.  Note that this is with the emulator which is why I thought I should log it here.
