I am using azure stack update 1807 and the linux extension failed. Please see VM failed status information below: 

Status Message:   Malformed status file [000003] Invalid status/status: failed

Type:   Microsoft.OSTCExtensions.CustomScriptForLinux

Version:   1.5.2.0

Status:    Provisioning failed

Please let me know where to find the Microsoft.OSTCExtensions.CustomScriptForLinux handler version that is supported by Azure stack update 1807

From what I can find, this extension should work for Azure Stack. 

The error message you are getting tends to happen if there is an issue with the script you are running with the command. You can review the execution output by following the instructions under the Debug section Here.
