However, this record type is not defined in the spec.  In fact, that is the only instance of "BrtUid" in the document!

Based on a sample file, it appears to have record number 3072 (0x0C00) and is 16 bytes long.  A reasonable guess would be that it encodes a 16-byte GUID.
