My wife just started playing with the App Studio Beta and her Windows Phone.

She made an app that basically read her blog. Now she started to change the app in the App Studio website and is wondering if after publishing the update will pop on the phone like a regular app or she will need to manually install it again in the phone for each version she want to release.

Are apps made with App Studio Beta automatically updated in the phone after publishing?

After generate the app you can test it in your device and you can submit it in the store, after the last version of the app is available in store it will be update in your device. But if you didn´t submitted the last version in store, you can install the app (you need!)

The tab Publish / Generate don´t submitt automatically the app in store you ir device, is a manual process and is a new package, then you need submit or install.
