Right this is the first time I have set up Commerce Server this may sound stupid but I would be very grateful for any help.

I'm working with commerce server 2007 development edition, on a local machine with Windows Server 2008, SQL 2008 and IIS 7. I have successfully unpuped the CSharpe website. I was going through the process of unpuping the Data warehouse pup file. On completion there was no global resource created in commerce server manager. I looked through the pup file and notice an error with SQL that wasn't set up correctly. I jumped back and set up the reporting services.

I acidently deleted the database for DW in Sql Management studio I can't set up the reporting services and when I try to import in data warehouse import wizard I get an error asking to unpup the pup file which I have done.

I know I made a rookie mistake by not configuring SQL correctly beforehand and I hope this makes sense but is there anything I can do to resolve the issue so I can re - unpup the DW.pup file.

You would need to delete the resource manually from the Config DB. Not sure this would be quicker and safer than a reinstall.
