I have noticed that the App Studio generated apps started to need permissions that didn't need before, like localization for example.

Agreed - I wonder if the App Studio team can tell us whether we can tighten up the permissions or if all are required. Last time I started cleaning up (i.e. reducing) the permissions on an AppStudio generated app but at the last minute I didn't feel like failing certification so I left them as is, even though it seemed like the app was being too permissive.
