As I understand its by design that Windows 10 IOT drops the WIFI connection when ethernet gets a link (and reconnects to wifi if ethernet drops).

Now in my case both links should be up, any idea what setting I have to change so both connections work simultaneously ?

Hello Harald,

You can try to change the metric for the WiFi interface manually via following command.

netsh interface IPv4 set interface interface="Wi-Fi" metric=35

This article describes the Automatic Metric feature that is used in Windows for Internet Protocol IPv4 routes.

If set the metric of wifi and ethernet same with 35, we can use Get-NetIPInterface to check the ConnectionState.
