I got something strange here.
Initially i created an answer file for our devices on a device itself, and i made a copy of the IBW on a bootable USB.
The Distribution share was then also copied to that usb, the answer file, and it all worked, i could deploy an image i started up my IBW, selected my custom profile, and WES got installed.

Now since the machine was to slow to retrieve windows updates, i installed ICE and the image updater on my laptop.
I updated my Distribution share with the latest fixes, copied it to USB in the same folder, and used the same answer file.

Now I get failed to copy OEM folder [c:\ds\$OEM$ Folders\Custom Files\$OEM$].[gle=0x00000003]

I see the internal disk has driver letter E:\ 
And it contains $Windows.~BT\Sources\Panther\  (so internal disk could be writtten on.
Using Diskpart list volume
E = ntfs (my internal disk to which i would like to deploy wes 7 to, contains pagefile.sys and $windows.BT, its writeable.
C = fat32 14GB ==> ? i think a virtual disk used by ICE to include the right folders to install
D = the IBW stick itself

Now i found something strange here, which i cannt yet explain.
Going to the C drive, i have a DS64SP1\$OEM$ Folders\C 
There i miss one folder which i had named drivers
While another folder "our app" is pressent
When brouwsing on D:\DS\$OEM$ Folders\C ..i do see my missing folder there,
But also i see that other files are not in "D:\DS\$oem$ folder"  / while they are in C\DS64SP1\$OEM$ Folders

Im working only with 64bit btw.

When i try to search for the files i see in C\DSP64SP1\$OEM$ Folder, on my usb Disk D, i dont see them.

Whats going on here ?

Make sure you specify correct OEM folders path in the answer file. The path must be correct during setup on target PC, not during development. If you are unsure about that, add custom files to distributin share on development PC, open answer file, and then use Insert - Oem Folders Path menu item in ICE. In this case the path will be specified using %distributionshareroot% variable instead of absolute path. Then recreate IBW and try again.

About disks: I've never observed any "virtual" disks during normal WES7 deployment, so you have to clarify where each disk comes from. You can do that with diskpart utility.
