each time I close Visual Studio and reopen it to continue work on the form, the design for the form doesn't open, only the code. I want to be able to change the design of the UI, but I can't because it doesn't show up. I'm fairly new to Visual Studio and don't know much about it. I try opening the solution(i think its what you call it haha), but it doesn't show. only the code like I said.

From Solution Explorer, click on the arrow as per the image below, do you see the Designer and resx files? If not then this is the reason for not seeing the form's canvas as part of the form is missing which can only happen when a developer physically removes the file or a anti-virus program removes the file.
