one of our customers uses Lync 2013 and wants to integrate some features with his existing Sugarcrm. SugarCRM ist a PHP based Web-CRM on a separat Webserver.

the following features should work:

-if an incomming call comes it should show the information in the CRM System.

-if a user clicks on a phoneNumber within SugarCRM the client-telephone should start to dial.

is such scenario possible (SugarCRM - Lync)?

what API do we have to use?

Hi,

Well I think honestly it depends, you can hook into the locally installed client using the Lync client SDK or you can use UCWA to create a totally web based experience. At this time UCWA doesnt currently support audio / video calling but it can be used for IMs etc.
