I'm using OCR and I'm having a strange behavior I want to extract text information from a ticket picture. In order to reduce the size of the image to upload, I'm cropping the image removing borders. When I execute the service with the original image I have extracted 90% of the text, but with the cropped image only 20%. Is there any recommendation for image characteristic?

It's also a bit slow (around 10 to 15 seconds), is there anything I can do to improve such processing time?

The slow processing time may be due to your network or large picture, otherwise,  10 to 15 seconds, is unacceptable.
