if we want to serach unicode data in sql server we need to use N before the searching string. If i use N also with English string then does this provide me wrong result or else?

This can not be a problem, since N (unicode) character sets are an extension of the original ANSI character sets used by Windows (SQL Server documentation is noting it as ASCII, but it is not standard ASCII).
