Hi, two questions if possible.

1. How accurate are the Analysis stats the MS Dev Portal gives me for our app? The Daily Active Users and the User Sessions are at about 1/4 of what our own internal tracking stats are suggesting. I'm trying to establish which is more likely to be correct and would like to know what exactly MS use to gather their app usage data.

2. If I remove an app from the MS app store, am I correct in assuming anyone who has already downloaded that app will still be able to use the app as it's already on their phone?

Hello,

>Q1:

Both of the User session and Active users chart don't track unique user sessions. Thus, a customer is represented in the chart whether they used your app just once or multiple times that day. Besides, only usage data from customers on Windows 10 will be included in this report.

For more details, please refer to Usage report.

The Windows Store analytics API can let you retrieve your app's analytic data programmatically.

Yes, you're correct. Check Removing an app from the Store:

"Note that any customers who already have the app will still be able to use it (and could even get updates if you submit new packages later)."
