Hi,

I am working with the SharePoint hosted add-in using visual studio 2017 workflow designer to implement the workflow.

The below error is thrown in XAML designer, whenever adding LookupSPListItem control in the workflow.

I tried the fix from below thread, but it is not working.

Hi,

I just install VS 2017 community version in my local and it’s working fine.

Here are some tips for troubleshooting:

Unload the project:

Edit .csproj

Check the references:

Check is any dll missing in

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2017\Community\Common7\IDE\PublicAssemblies

If there is installation issue related to Visual Studio, I would suggest you post in Visual Studio forum, so other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge.
