I am fairly new to the sync framework. My scenario is as follows, we will have a central SQL 2008 database and many clients using SQL Compact 3.5.  The compact clients will not always be connected to the SQL 2008 server, however we will want the clients to be able to sync between each other.  My question is, does anyone have any recommendations on how to perform a background sync automatically between multiple clients. For example, we will want Client 1 to sync with Client 2 and Client 2 to sync with Client 3 and the Client 3 to sync with Client 1.  I can sync two compact databases now, I just need to get some recommendations on how to automatically setup the client application so that Client 1 knows Client 2 is available to sync and Client 2 knows Client 3 is available and Client 3 knows Client 1 is available to sync.  Any ideas? Sync Fx out of the box doesnt keep track of who's sync pairs (which peer is synching with another peer) nor does it enable checking if a peer is available for synching.

in your case, you might want to create a table or config in each peer to record which peer does it need to sync with and programmatically check if the peer if available for synching.
