I would need guidance on decidng an application architecture.
Brief description about the application: The application is mainly an online form
to collect the sales details across the country.The number of concurrent users may
not exceed 100.The application needs to support quick search and report generation.
The Regional managers will be intrested in the regional reports and the Central office
all regions. The volume of data is huge.
Approach:
 Maintain 2 different types of database - Regional and Central
Sync the Regional and the central database every noght using a batch update.
