我在特定计算机（VM）中配置了iis中的开发网址，当我尝试浏览时来自IIS的url以chrome开头，但当我复制相同的url，试图在Internet Explorer中打开时，它没有打开，尽管我在该机器的
主机文件中配置了这个url。

请帮助我配置网址，以便在任何浏览器的任何位置访问它。

请尝试关闭IE中的友好错误以获取真正的原因：

Internet选项»高级然后找到Bowsing部分并取消选中Show友好的HTTP错误消息。

i had configured development url in iis in a particular machine(VM), when i tried to browse that url from IIS its opening in chrome, but when i copied the same url , tried to open in internet explorer, it's not opening, eventhough i configured that url in host file of that machine.

Please help me out in configuring the url to access it from anywhere in any browser.

Is there any error throw out?

please try to turn off friendly errors in IE to get the real reason:

Internet Option » Advanced then find the Bowsing section and uncheck Show friendly HTTP error messages.

Also, try to restart IISAdmin service to see if it works.
