I am developing mobile app(c#) using Windows CE and Windows mobile. (RFID tech)

I need to use airplane seat images (LOPA) to change seat color as RFID reader finds tags in the plane. This process must work very fast and visually perfect so I need your idea.  I attached the screen of our program for your review.

Each airplane has its image(LOPA) so we know the layout of the seats.
Each seat has a life-jacket so our purpose is to find their expiration date. then show the result(red,green)  visually on the image(LOPA) of the airplane.

I am currently puting the image(LOPA) of the airplane into the windows form. then I created button for each seat and set the button location on the LOPA (not easy) . When the RFID program starts searching  tags, I change the color of the button depends on condition. Actually it works now. but creating 400 buttons takes time when loading the windows form.

In my opinion, there must  be a better solution (visually perfect, better speed etc)
