I do not have orchestrations in any of the web services(REST) implemented. How can I handle exceptions and send back some custom error message to user. I need to handle 500, 404, 400 errors and errors in ports, pipelines as well. According to my knowledge pipelines will do this. Can any one share some samples of how to implement and where to implement this in pipelines.

Hi Sindhu91,

对于端口级别，您可以在biztalk中启用失败的路由消息功能或者在接收端口/发送端口。

For port level you can enable Failed Routing Message feature in biztalk either at receive port / send port.

这样你就会得到带有错误描述的msg作为上下文属性，这样你就可以提取msg并做任何你想对这个错误做的事情。

by this you ll get msg with error description as context property so that you can extract msg and do whatever you want to do with this error.
