我们在jsp和java技术中开发了基于父网页的应用程序，我们将.net组件（WPF 用户控件）作为模块托管在基于父网络的应用程序中。

We have parent web based application developed in jsp and java technologies and we hosted our .net component (WPF  User control) as module inside the parent web based application.

因此，当我们在我们的模块（.net组件）中打开子窗口时，在IE 6的情况下，这个子窗口充当我们整个Web应用程序的模型窗口。

So when ever we open a child window in our module (.net component ) this child window is acting as model window to entire our web application in the case of IE 6.

But now we have migrated to IE 8 and same above specified scenario is not working and what ever child window we open it is becoming as modelless window.
