My organization is looking at deploying the Lync conversation translator.  The only draw back is that people have concerns about what appears to be unencrypted text being sent to the URL which would be a privacy issue for those using the translator in our organization.  Is there a way to encrypt the text being sent?  This would help ease concerns of upper management.

Hi again, im not sure if it would be possible or a good enough solution, but could you do a outbound url translation for from http to https in the firewall.

This might be a quick and dirty solution and one that might not be good enough since it would be unencrypted on the internal network. (and it might even be that the api is not open for https requests in the end.) just a thought i got :D
