I am hoping to use Expression Encoder 4 to do screen recordings during usability testing.  The problem that I am running into is that no matter what settings I use, or how powerful my machine, I am getting significant mouse cursor flashing during recording.  I am recording the mouse pointer and the output video looks good and does not seem to capture the mouse flashing.

I am using Expression Encoder 4.0.1639.0 with the latest video card drivers and generally don't see the processor spike over 20% on any of the machines even with background use.

I have seen this as well. I am told it has to do with sampling from the gpu for the screen capture. I don't believe there is a work around as of now, but it is a known issue.
