I am building an InfoPath form where users will select one or more checkboxes.  Based on the checkboxes selected, they will have to complete specific sections (e.g. if checkbox 1 must complete sections 1,2, and 4--checkbox 2 must complete 1,4, and 7.

Using rules and conditional formatting is too ugly...specifically if a user checks and then unchecks boxes, so I would like to accomplish this through scripting.

I've not attempted this before (I'm no developer), but I am trying to use jscript.  Just to get my feet wet, I tried adding the following to a button so that when one checkbox is checked by the user (AR), another checkbox would be checked (AnchorMO).  Obviously this is not the behavior I need for my form (I need to figure out how to set instances), but I wanted to start with something simple:

if （ this 。AR == true ） set（this.AnchorMO == true）

if (this.AR == true) set (this.AnchorMO == true)
