I am wondering if anyone would know what issues i may face switching from mixed mode to native mode in server 2003. i need to raise the functional level to install exchange 2007.

All windows servers in my domain are 2003. i have 4 Linux redhat servers running oracle.

Hi Jim,

By raising a forest functional level to windows server 2003 you will have to make sure that all the servers in the entire forest are windows server 2003 servers. If its a domain functional level that you are raising then you have to make sure all the servers in the domain are windows server 2003 servers. However, you also have to note that by raising a functional level you cannot revert it back to a lesser level. Only the upgrade is possible not the downgrade . And you would want to do a downgrade if you still have windows 200o or NT servers in your environment.
