I have shapes and drawings with MANY layers stacked on top of each other and when I click twice to get from one layer to the object beneath it, I get the stupid text box prompt, usually filling the whole screen, so I have to escape out of it and start over and wait a couple heartbeats in between clicks... which doesn't sound like much until you have to do it 500 times a day and it's a HUGE waste of time, but so is having to change it in every single shape I create.  99% of the shapes I use are straight out of the typical shape toolboxes.  I just want to grab a shape and drag it out of the shapes bar and have its double-click feature OFF by default.

P.S.  I'll save you the trouble of recommending that I turn up my double-click speed in Windows settings.  I've done it, but even at its fastest I still trip over it more than you'd think.  Also, I switch between a lot of programs at once, and changing it system-wide is a pain in other situations.

Based on my knowledge, there is no setting to change the default double-click behavior for new shapes.

If you want to disable double-click feature for all existed shapes, we can do the following settings:
