我在Windows 2008服务器Core Hyper-V主机上运行的测试台正在运行。

I have a test-rig running running on Windows 2008 server Core Hyper-V host.

使用四核2.4 GHz Xeon CPU在W2008 Server R2上运行Controller和Agent计算机。

Both Controller and Agent machine is running on W2008 Server R2 using a Quad Core 2,4 GHz Xeon CPU.

On the Agent machine i have regulary spikes of 86% cpu which are conflicting with my test results. (every 2-3 minutes)

The spikes occur AFTER i have installed and configured the LoadAgent. And it dosent matter if the "Visual Studio Test Agent" service is running or not.

If i use the regular "windows task manager" i see the cpu spikes on all cores, but if i use "Process explorer" i dont see the spikes at all.

couple thoughts and a clarification.

1) when you say you tried to run on a clean windows install do you mean on a physical machine?  If not I would try it on a physical box to remove virtualization from the picture.

2) When you say the 86% CPU is conflicting with your test results are you saying you see a spike in some other metric that you think might be related to your CPU spike?  How long is the spike and what does the CPU look like before the spike.  Is there a corresponding spike in disk activity? while I try to keep CPU below 75% on an agent, it is not the end of the world if it goes above that briefly either so it may be something you can ignore.  Periodic spikes could be related to virus scans or updates, windows updates, any program that has a periodic retry like a chat client, a virus...
