Does the business tools (catalog manager etc) install on windows 7.

We have an editor that can not get it to install. Have not a clear error but is states that it requires windows xp sp2.

If you have installed commerce server dll's in the bin folder of the business tools applications they can be executed anywhere without installation. 

 

To achieve this:

 

Download the  Partner SDK, which includes Commerce Server Business Applications source codes. Compile it on a machine which has commerce runtime installed on it. Then put the commerce server runtime DLL files (C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Commerce Server 2007\Assemblies) in the BIN directory. Then zip the bin directory and put it on the Windows 7 machine. extract, and run it. It should work without installation.
