We have just deployed a PixelSense application in the wild and there are severe lighting issues that render the table unusable. We have ran the environment lighting tool and played with the lights above the table but the venue staff are cannot just turn off lights because it greatly affects the store. However, they can replace the lights, or are happy to place some sort of IR filters over the existing lighting, but I am having a great deal of trouble finding anything that might help.

Honestly, the Samsung support and documentations is beyond bad, the information available is (from what I can find) very shallow and urgent help is needed here.

Can anyone please help me out? Any advice is appreciated, however moving the table is not an option, it is built into a fixed position, also the LEDs above the table are part of a larger circuit which means you cannot selectively dim or turn off certain LEDs.

Hello, I am afraid that you will not have any straight solution. Before deploying a SUR40 solution you should verify that it is suitable for the environnement ased on recomomendatin and lighting condition. In some of our project we have refuse some customer project because lighting was an issue.

Depending on your customer configuration, as you mentionn that light on top of the table are causing issue. It is strictly define in Samsung venu guide that there must be no light on top of the unit. In such way you will have no other solution that using a kind of canopé.
