I am working on a Release branch creation and i have a question when i create a branch from a parent branch. the branch is not getting created but i need to list of changesets of the parent branch also available in the new branch. Is that possible ?

We could not get the changeset of the parent branch in the new branch now. And the history will loss after you rename the branch, but you still could check the history. For more information, you could refer to the following link:
