I've managed to get the application verifier working on the WM 6.5 VGA Emulator and i was shocked by the amount of Leaked Handles stemming from wininet.dll. The log shows about 30 leaked handles ranging from critical sections, named events, registry handles etc.

Does the application verifier incorrectly report those leaked handles or is wininet really that crappy? It really bothers me because i'm developing native c++ projects so my binaries will be tiny and don't have a lot of overhead. But when seeing the app verification logs, all my efforts in attempting to create an efficient application by using native code seem like a waste of time...
