I am trying to get the local help in Visual Studio 2010 to work. I downloaded the files I wanted to look at and selected local help in the manage help settings, but no matter what option I choose the help button always brings me to the online help. Is there any way to get the local help to work?

Reboot the PC (in case a file is locked), and try again.
IE. Run Help Manager (from VS 2010 menu) and select local Mode from the first screen.

Next I would try running Help Library Manager AS Administrator.
