There was code written for Kinect v1 with the older SDK where Nui identifiers worked. I'm now trying to bring it all across to Visual studio 2013 with the newest SDK 2.0 with the v2 Kinect sensor and none of the nui identifiers work?

I'm not sure what do you mean with "Nui identifiers", but, if you are familiar with v1 API, I think you can make a good idea of how things changed in v2 having a look at the jump start videos. Once you have these changes in mind, you can browse the v2 API and find what you need.
