i read a past thread in this forum that says there are no available reporting tools for use with VS 2005 express edition.

The reporting tool there has a free trial download so you can even give it a try, as far as i can tell there isn't any reason why it won't work.

I use the asp.net CR1 reports over Crystal as THEY WORK, unlike crystal reports which do not work on deployment servers.
