What you are seeing here is a standard aspnet generic error screen.
This screen tells you what changes you need to make to the web.config file to enable you to view the detail of underlying exception.

If you don't want to modify the web.config, and if you have console access to the server, you could try the following:
- logon to the server and open a browser and try viewing the website - this may give a different error screen, with the exception detail.
- open the event viewer and have a look at the windows application log.
