I am a pretty basic PC user but I use Outlook extensively for emailing and calendars which I keep for a couple of years. I have recently started using SyncToy so that I have a copy of Outlook files as backup. I used Echo. I have suddenly, for no reason I can see, lost an Outlook Calendar with lots of crtical information about holiday cottage bookings. If I run SyncToy using Contribute will it copy back those Calendar file to the Left side?

You can do this with Contribute, make sure that you change the otder of your folders (left/right->right/left), and that you have write access to the outlook data folder.
