Hi! I am getting this error while running windows phone emulator...
I followed the step to do what is missing but still it is not woking.
These are the steps:
First of all I do Have an HP 4540s

Step 4 : enable Hyper-V in Windows

1.In Control Panel, click Programs, and then click Turn Windows features on or off.

2.In the Windows Features dialog box, click Hyper-V. The list of options expands.

3.In the expanded list of options, select at least the Hyper-V Platform check box, and then click OK.

-These were enabled successfully

I think the problem is from BIOS but to from this link(http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windowsphone/develop/jj863509(v=vs.105).aspx[^]) there saying you can enabe the EPT,VMX,XD if there are available and disable Intel VT-d,Trusted Execution if there are available to
Now can some help me fix this because I am still getting that error while running the windows phone emulator.

Well given the fact that I also have the same issue with an HP product I thought that was somehow at the root of the issue.
But gladly I was able to fix it just now.

Enter your BIOS and enable Virtualization there. I'm not sure what the exact name of the item is, but there is only one revolving virtualization.

Goto Start -> Run or Windows key + r.
Enter the following command: appwiz.cpl
Select the option 'Enable or disable Windows Features'. I'm not sure of the exact name of the English option, because I have a Dutch version of Win8.

In the next dialog windows find the item Hyper-V and check that option and make sure that all the options under it are checked as well.
The first time I tried it I wasn't able to select the last option: Hyper-V platform.
That was probably because the option in the Bios wasn't enabled.

When enabling those features your machine will start to install the features and reboot after a while.

I don't have the options mentioned in the BIOS and I even updated my BIOS.
