Hi,

When installing drivers on an XPE machine the installer doesn't search for files in "obvious" places, such as \WINDOWS\system32 and \WINDOWS\system32\drivers.  Because of this a search dialog box pops up over and over again.

Since this doesn't happen in Windows XP, it seems like I forgot to install some component in XPE or to set some "driver installation search path" or something like that.

Anyone know how to fix this?

I realize that I could componentize the drivers and that this problem would then go away, but I'd prefer not to go through that hassle.

I mentioned this in another post. Someone mentioned that there is a registry key that needs to be added to the driver search path. It might have been in the Newsgroup.
