The OS will display a error when trying to install an unsigned driver (for the particular OS) on a non-test version of the OS.  When doing so, a user will receive an pop-up error stating that driver is not signed, and can not be installed.

There isn't an easy work around for end users (like previous versions of Windows) where they could just allow install on the fly of unsigned drivers.
