When I open my visio professional file this error message comes up "The Cross-Functional solution is intended to be run for a Visio drawiing. The solution cannot be run."

I notice that the issue occurred when you opened your Visio file, what's your detailed file format, .vsdx, .vsd or others?

In Visio 2010, please click New > Flowchart > Cross-Functional Flowchart, confirm if there is any error when using this template. Additionally, please click File > Options > Advanced, under General section, uncheck "Enable Automation Events" option to have a try.
