The query is based on two out of three related entities(Orders, shippers, customers in the Northwind). Customers is not included in the parametric query. Including or excluding data using the Manage Included Data link does not appear to make any changes to the returned results (in fact Customer was returned slowly although it was excluded). Is there any thing else to be set?

If you have the related Customers displayed on the screen, then LightSwitch will always try to load it in order to display the information on the screen, whether it is Included in the initial query or not. If Customer isn't Included in the initial query, then LightSwitch will perform a separate query to load the related information.

I hope I answered your question. If I didn't, can you explain a little more on what you're trying to accomplish? Are you trying to show an Orders screen with just Shipper information? Or Shipper and Customer info? It wasn't clear from your question whether you want Customer information to be shown or not.
