Does the Microsoft Report Viewer 2008 SP1 work fine on IIS 7 on Windows Server 2008? I have read that you have to map a new handler for it:

However after installing the control from the download http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=bb196d5d-76c2-4a0e-9458-267d22b6aac6&DisplayLang=en it is not available in the dropdown as shown in the Type dropdown in the article above. I was able to get it to work by putting my web application into an application pool with the managed pipeline mode set to classic instead of integrated and then it worked. Without this configuration I get 'RSClientController is undefined' whenever I try to render a report using the web Report Viewer control. Note neither SQL or SQL Reporting Services are not installed on this Windows 2008 server where I am having the issue, only my web application that runs reports against a separate reporting server.

Does anyone have any insight on this?
