On page 11, item e question:  does this mean that bugs are fixed in MAIN and then merged back into DEVELOPMENT?   Forward is from Parent (i.e. MAIN) to child (i.e. DEVLOPMENT)?

Hi,

This is may work with several DEV branches. All teams updates their branches when one team merge its changes to MAIN and build was succes.
In addition ship blocking bug fixes may go throught MAIN branch.
