问题描述

作为版本控制系统，我们在2015版本中使用tfs。我们公司决定将Visual Studio 2012和2013更改为Visual Studio 2017.我们卸载旧版本并安装了最新版本和新机器，我们也只安装了最新的VS.

之后我们运行Visual Studio并在选项卡工作项中配置了团队基础服务器之后我们有了消息：

"无法加载DLL'Microsoft.WITDataStore32.dll'：指定的模块无法找到。 （来自HRESULT的异常：0x8007007E）" - 我们没有打开任何解决方案。

如下图所示。

我们不喜欢在Visual Studio中打开任何解决方案，但是当我们打开时，我们遇到同样的问题。

Hi,

As version control system we using tfs in version 2015. Our company decided to change Visual Studio 2012 and 2013 to Visual Studio 2017. We uninstalled old versions and installed the newest and on new machines too we installed only the newest VS.

After that when we run the Visual Studio and after configured the team foundation server in tab Work Items we have messsage:

"Unable to load DLL 'Microsoft.WITDataStore32.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)" - we don't opened any solution.

As on picture below.



We don't open any solution in Visual Studio, but when we opened then we have that same problem.

Is there any solution for this problem?

Please check whether you have 'Microsoft.WITDataStore32.dll' in the path below:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2017\Enterprise\Common7\IDE\CommonExtensions\Microsoft\TeamFoundation\Team Explorer

If not, please try to install team explorer for vs 2017 , download it from this blog:

https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/bharry/2017/04/05/team-explorer-for-tfs-2017/

Then find Microsoft.WITDataStore32.dll in team explorer folders and copy it to the path above.
